The Gateway Education Foundation was created to support the educational programs of the Gateway School District. The Gateway Education Foundation provides funds beyond the normal budget for educational programs and activities for students and staff. Foundation funds are used to enhance student achievement and skill development, recognize and encourage staff excellence and expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, tax-exempt public corporation operating independently under a volunteer board of directors.
